• Informational only. Content on this site is general information. It isn't legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice, and nothing here creates a consulting, fiduciary, or attorney-client relationship. A consulting engagement begins only under a signed Order Form governed by our Standard Consulting Terms.
• Acceptable use. You may view, save, and share the site for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not: scrape or crawl at a rate that burdens the site; reverse engineer, probe, or stress-test it; interfere with its operation or security; misrepresent your identity; use it to transmit malware or unlawful content; or bypass any access controls. Well-behaved indexing bots honoring robots.txt are welcome.
• Contact form. The contact form is for introductions. Don't send confidential, privileged, regulated, or sensitive personal information (health, financial, credentials, trade secrets) through it. Submissions aren't treated as confidential and don't create an NDA, engagement, or privileged relationship. If you need to share sensitive material, wait for a signed NDA or Order Form.
• Analytics and cookies. The site loads HubSpot's tracking script (only after you accept the cookie banner) to understand how people find and use it. This sets cookies and collects limited usage data, as described in the Privacy Statement. You can decline at the banner or block these at the browser level.
• Feedback. If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback — through the form, email, or otherwise — we may use them for any purpose without restriction, attribution, or compensation. Don't send us anything you expect to remain yours unless a separate written agreement says so.
• Intellectual property. Site content, copy, design, logos, and the "JBP" and "jbp.llc" marks are owned by JBP. The limited personal-use right above does not include copying, republishing, reselling, training AI models on, or incorporating site content into another product or service without written permission.
• Third-party links and services. External links and embedded third-party services (including HubSpot) are provided for convenience. Their availability, accuracy, and privacy practices are outside our control, and linking is not endorsement.
• No warranties. The site is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We don't warrant accuracy, completeness, availability, uninterrupted access, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use of the site is at your own risk.
• Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent allowed by law, JBP is not liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, and our aggregate liability for any claim related to your use of the site is capped at one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). This cap does not apply to fraud or willful misconduct. (This cap applies to site use only — consulting engagements are governed separately by Section 10 of the Standard Consulting Terms.)
• Indemnification. You agree to defend and hold JBP harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or violation of applicable law.
• Copyright concerns. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, email hello@jbp.llc with: identification of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature.
• Electronic communications. By contacting us or submitting the form, you consent to receiving electronic communications from us in reply. We will not add you to marketing lists without a separate, explicit opt-in.
• Export and sanctions. You represent that you are not located in a jurisdiction subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any U.S. government restricted-party list.
• Changes. We may update the site, these terms, or the Privacy Statement at any time. Material updates will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised version.
• Governing law and disputes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing, the parties will attempt good-faith negotiation for at least thirty (30) days. Any unresolved dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, to whose personal jurisdiction and venue you consent.
• Severability; no waiver; entire agreement. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the Privacy Statement, are the entire agreement between you and JBP for your use of the site.
